Eliza Hartley, MSW, LICSW

Licensed independent clinical social worker

Do you feel anxious in social situations, about the current state of the world, or your future? Are you a teenager or young adult trying to figure yourself out and how you fit into the world? Perhaps you’re a parent of a teenager wanting to support your child in navigating these and other concerns. Life can be overwhelming at times, we can sometimes hit a rough patch and feel pretty down, and seeking support is a brave act of vulnerability. It’s a step we all need to take sometimes. Hey there, I’m Eliza, and I’m glad you’re here.

I primarily support teenagers and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma or stressors, life transitions, grief and loss, and relationship distress. My therapy style is eclectic, primarily consisting of CBT, DBT skills, parts work/IFS, and mindfulness. I remain firmly grounded in a trauma-informed, identity-affirming, anti-racist perspective.

Whether we meet via telehealth or in person, I hope you or your child feel comfortable and empowered to be authentically yourself. If you’re a teen, rest assured we will involve parents or guardians at key points in treatment planning and if safety concerns arise; otherwise, my focus will be on you, looping in your parents when it seems supportive to treatment and with your permission.

I received my MSW from the University of St. Thomas in 2022 and have been in practice since then. I have training and experience specifically targeted toward working with adolescents and young people, and I thoroughly enjoy the work. When I’m not at work, however, I enjoy reading, watching movies, going on walks and hikes, spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and playing with my tuxedo kitty. I look forward to meeting you!

Eliza is available at Highland, Loring Park, & via telehealth.
