Kim loves getting to know people and helping them find their hidden strengths and passions. With a background in Marine Biology, she brings a natural perspective to her work. Her connection to animals and the outdoors has always been an integral part of her life.
She began her journey with art therapy at a pain clinic in Victoria, British Columbia. Prescribed daily painting, she uses her art as a mental wellness and self-care practice. For more information on art therapy, click here!
Trained in Art Therapy and Adlerian Psychotherapy, Kim uses a heart-based, person-centered approach, to help you find your own answers to navigate life with joy and purpose.
Her specialties are working with people on their journey of recovery from alcohol and substance use, eating disorders, body image issues, low self-worth, perfectionism, attention deficit disorders, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. She also incorporates poetry, free association, and walk-and-talk nature therapy in the park across the street to help you achieve your goals.
Kim is in the Loring Park location and offers telehealth.
