Sheena O’Brien, MA

Sheena O’Brien is a MN Behavioral Health & Therapy Board Approved Supervisor and can provide supervision for any person working towards licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). 

Her experience includes working with individuals, couples, and families in residential Rule 36 living, campus training program, and private practice settings. Beyond traditional client concerns such as anxiety, depression, and stress management, she has experience in obsessive compulsive disorder, couple’s therapy, and complex trauma. 

 

Julia Lambert, LICSW

LICENSED INDEPENDENT CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

Julia is an MN Board-approved supervisor and can provide supervision for any person working towards licensure as an LPC, LPCC, or LICSW. She enjoys coming alongside new clinicians to empower, encourage, and challenge the future generation of therapists.

As a queer therapist, Julia has a special interest in working in the LGBTQ+ community. Her experience includes anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, ADHD, identity questioning, and self-esteem. She is trained in ART therapy and works primarily with adults, adolescents, and families in the Loring Park location.

 

Dr. Stefanie Bauer, LP

Dr. Stefanie Bauer who offers supervision to pre-doctoral, post-doctoral, pre-licensure as well as Licensed Psychologists. She is a Clinical Supervisor for Grander Peace Counseling.

Dr. Bauer has her private practice, Life Ripples, since 2012. The ripples we experience in our lives can have different effects on us. Life Ripples works together with clients to find wholeness by including an all-encompassing therapy, filled with tangible therapy tools targeted towards clients’ individual needs.

She has been fathomed by clients willingness to “choose wisely” when they learn to use the tools. She is honored to work with clients on various issues and various ages and learn from their work together. 

She has gained experience in supervision while working with students at Mental Health System, providing DBT Therapy to clients individually and in group.

Jessica Van Berkum, MA, LMFT

Jessica is a Minnesota Board Approved Supervisor for the Board Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT license) and the Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy ((LPC/LPCC licenses). Jessica is currently providing internship/practicum experiences as well as clinical supervision for pre-licensed mental health practitioners.

Jessica is passionate about working with relationships, individuals with chronic illness, and single adult women. She is LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC affirming. Jessica’s individual therapy specialties include life transitions/Adjustment Disorder, Grief and Loss, Anxiety, Depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She incorporates self-care, mindfulness, and other activities in treatment. Her relational experience includes work with pre-marital counseling, couples/marriage/non-traditional relationships, parenting assessments, co-parenting, complex family systems, and other combinations of family therapy.

Karen MountainJohnson, LPCC

Karen is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and is a board-approved supervisor for LPC and LPCC candidates. Her work is informed by a number of theoretical orientations including: humanist/existential, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma-informed therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and EMDR.

Karen specializes in working with adults (18+) who are suffering from depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, and any number of major life stressors or transitions. Karen welcomes individuals from all cultural backgrounds, religious or non-religious belief systems, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
